กรุณาเสนอรายชื่อนักเรียนที่จะเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมไม่เกินสองคนต่อโรงเรียนที่ท่านสังกัดอยู่โดยใช้แบบฟอร์มบนหน้า Registration. ทางทีมงานจะพยายามจัดสรรจำนวนเพศของนักเรียนที่เข้าร่วมโครงการให้เท่ากัน ดังนั้นทางทีมงานแนะนำให้อาจารย์ที่ปรึกษาเสนอชื่อนักเรียนชาย และนักเรียนหญิงอย่างละหนึ่งคนในกรณีที่เป็นไปได้

ให้นักเรียนของท่านเขียนบทความเป็นภาษาอังกฤษ (ในรูปแบบ doc หรือ pdf ไม่เกิน 500 คำ) อธิบายเหตุผลว่าทำไมจึงอยากเข้าร่วมโครงการ ThaiPASS'19 โดยอัพโหลดผ่านช่องทาง "เอกสารแนบ (student's essay in English)".

เงื่อนไขในการพิจารณาผู้สมัครเข้าร่วมโครงการจะเป็นเกณฑ์คะแนนจากบทความที่นักเรียนส่งมา และเหตุผลในการเสนอชื่อจากอาจารย์ที่ปรึกษา ดังนี้

ความสามารถและศักยภาพทางด้านวิทยาศาสตร์

ทักษะการสื่อสารด้านภาษาอังกฤษ

ความสนใจทางด้านดาราศาสตร์

ทักษะอื่น ๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้อง (เช่น ประสบการณ์ในการเขียนโปรแกรม รางวัลทางวิชาการ เป็นต้น)

โดยทางทีมงานจะคัดเลือกนักเรียนเข้าร่วมโครงการ ThaiPASS'19 จำนวนทั้งสิ้น 30 คน โดยนักเรียนจะได้ที่พักเป็นเวลาทั้งสิ้น 5 คืน รวมอาหารเช้า อาหารกลางวัน และอาหารว่างเช้า/บ่าย งานเลี้ยง และค่าทัศนศึกษา ทั้งนี้นักเรียนจะต้องรับผิดชอบค่าอาหารเย็นในบางมื้อ และนักเรียนจะต้องรับผิดชอบค่าใช้จ่ายในการเดินทางมาร่วมงานด้วยตนเอง
สำหรับครูที่ต้องการเข้าร่วมกิจกรรม ทีมงานมีงบประมาณจำกัดในการสนับสนุนค่าที่พัก และอาหาร -
กำหนดการเสนอชื่อนักเรียนเข้าร่วมโครงการภายในวันที่ 16 สิงหาคม พ.ศ. 2562 เวลา 17.00 น. และ จะประกาศรายชื่อผู้เข้าร่วมโครงการภายในวันที่ 23 สิงหาคม พ.ศ. 2562
Notes for teachers.

Please nominate at most 2 students from your school using the form on the registration page. The organisers aim to achieve a good gender balance, therefore we strongly encourage you to nominate a male and a female student where possible.

Please ask each nominated student to write a short essay in English (doc or pdf files, maximum 500 words), explaining why they are interested in attending ThaiPASS’19. Please upload each essay in the field marked “เอกสารแนบ” below.

The organisers will use each teacher’s recommendation and the student's essay to score each student using the following criteria:

Ability and potential in science

Ability and potential in English
-
Interest in astronomy
-
Other relevant skills (e.g. computing experience, awards…)

We aim to select around 30 students to attend ThaiPASS’19. We will provide students with: 5-night accommodation (shared rooms at Baiyoke Ciao Hotel), breakfast, lunches, banquet and excursion day activities.
Note that participants must arrange their own travel to and from Chiang Mai. Dinners are not provided, except for the Banquet on Thursday evening.
There are also a limited number of funded places for teachers. -
The deadline for nominations is 16 August 2019, 1700hrs (Thai time). The outcome will be announced on this website by 23 August 2019.
