Introduction
Scientific researches in various aspect relating to Planetary Science and Astrophysics is very close to human activities on earth. This research field is very practical, while its diversity is expected. The main objective of the workshop is to bring together different groups working in this field of research. We plan to bring together scientists from different research fields, including Astrophysics, Planetary science and Atmospheric communities, to discuss the common approaches to the problem and to establish new collaborations.
Goals
The primary goal of the workshop is to exchange ideas, to establish cooperation links and to develop a joint strategic working plan for basic problems and projects of Exoplanet, Atmospheric Physics, Ionospheric Physics, and Aurora. The workshop specially aims at stimulating scientific discussions and collaborations between the different groups. The number of participants is limited to 40–50. The meeting will consist of oral presentations by invited lecturers and actual presentation of various hands-on activities. The majority of the time will be devoted to the actual workshop, stimulating the participants to work together in small groups on specific topics. Participants are encouraged to focus on the projects relating to their research interests. There will be no registration fee.
Target Audiences
High school teachers, 3rd-4th year undergraduate students, and early-year graduate student who are either already working or interested in the related fields of Planetary Science and Astrophysics and computational techniques. Due to the practical nature of the workshop and limited funding, the number of participants will be limited to 40-50 persons. The successful applicants will be notified of the organizer decisions approximately one week after the registration deadline.
