The 5th Thailand-UK Python+Astronomy Summer School 2024 (ThaiPASS’24)

ThaiPASS’24 (Thailand-UK Python+Astronomy Summer School) is a week-long training event for university students. The focus is on the application of Python to various topics in astronomy, from stellar astrophysics to large-scale cosmology. Speakers are active researchers in astrophysics from both the UK and Thailand.

We will train up to 30 participants mainly from ASEAN countries. However,  we also welcome applicants from outside the region. Applications from undergraduates and postgraduates are both considered.

Participants will leave ThaiPASS with a strong foundation of Python and its application to modern astronomy.

ThaiPASS'24 is supported by the ITCA scheme under the auspices of UNESCO.
