NARIT-EACOA Summer Workshop on Astrostatistics and Astroinformatics will be held in Chiang Mai, Thailand, 13 to 17 August 2019. This workshop is open to students and astronomers in East and Southeast Asia and other countries who have interests in practical use of statistics and of statistical tools applicable to tackle modern astrophysical problems.
The event is organized by the National Astronomical Research Institute of Thailand (NARIT) and National Astronomical Observatory of Japan (NAOJ). It is co-sponsored by NARIT, the East Asian, Core Observatories Association, and by the International Training Centre in Astronomy (ITCA) under the auspices of UNESCO.
Who can apply
The workshop is open to graduate students, postdocs and staff/faculty members with background in astronomy or related field. Final year undergraduate students may be considered as well.
