🌠 The 6th Thailand-UK Python+ Astronomy Summer School (ThaiPASS'25) 🌠
ThaiPASS’25 was successfully held from 6–10 October 2025 in Chiang Mai, Thailand. This summer school brought together Thai senior secondary school students to explore Python programming and its applications in data-driven astronomy.
ThaiPASS is a STEM outreach project designed to introduce students to coding, data science, and astronomy.
The project is a collaboration between three UK universities — the University of Warwick, the University of Hull, and the University of Central Lancashire — together with the Institute of Fundamental Study, Naresuan University, and the National Astronomical Research Institute of Thailand (NARIT).
Throughout the week, students learned to write code, analyze real astronomical data, and exchange ideas with UK and Thai lecturers. The atmosphere was filled with energy, creativity, and curiosity!
We are so proud of all participants — both students and teachers — for their enthusiasm, teamwork, and passionthroughout the week.
Thank you, everyone, for making ThaiPASS’25 a truly wonderful experience.
See you again in ThaiPASS’26 next year!
